NIH Honors Two Professors

Two faculty in the Department of Psychology have been recognized by the National Institutes of Health for their contributions to ending addiction in the U.S. Director of the Center on Alcohol, Substance Use, and Addictions (CASAA), Dr. Katie Witkiewitz, was presented with the Director's Award in Mentoring, and Dr. Kamilla Venner was selected for the Director's Award in Community Partnership. The NIH Director's Awards recognize, "exceptional performance and special efforts beyond regular job assignments. These directly relate to fulfilling the mission of the National Institutes of Health."
