- Evolutionary, genetic, and neurobiological origins of individual differences in cognition
- The role of developmental instability in the etioloty of neurodevelopmental disorders such as schizophrenia, dyslexia, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder
- Neuroimaging and neuropsychological analyses of brain injury from trauma and drug abuse (including diffusion tensor imaging, functional fMRI, network analysis, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy)
