The University of New Mexico’s Annual Research Lecture, presented by the Office of the Vice President for Research, was established in 1954 and is one of the highest honors the University bestows on its faculty in recognition of research and creative activity. This year, Dr. Barbara McCrady, Distinguished Professor of Psychology and director of UNM’s Center on Alcoholism, Substance Abuse, and Addictions (CASAA), will be honored.
As part of the ARL award, McCrady presents a lecture, “‘Til Death Do Us Part: A Lifetime of Research to Better Understand and Treat Alcohol Disorders in the Family,” on Wednesday, April 4 in the Centennial Engineering Center. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow.
