Getting Resistant Substance Using Individuals into Treatment by Working with Their Loved Ones

His business involves training substance abuse therapists around the world to do several scientifically-supported behavioral treatments: Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA), the adolescent version of CRA (A-CRA), and Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT). Dr. Meyers developed the highly successful CRAFT program as a way to engage resistant substance abusing individuals into treatment by working through their loved ones. Dr. Meyers’ CRAFT program was one of the 14 featured segments of the Emmy Award-winning HBO Addiction series. Dr. Meyers’ work also has been featured in Oprah magazine.
