The Department of Psychology is seeking a highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to develop and create the schedule of classes for the department each semester. In addition to the traditional courses offered on main campus, the Psychology department also offers online courses and Accelerated Online Program (AOP/MOP). This Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the entire scheduling process for the department each semester which includes, but not limited to: submitting department DESR, reviewing courses for accuracy, working with faculty and the department chair on faculty teaching workload reports, process course updates and revisions promptly, and report on enrollment data.
This position is also responsible for assisting instructors with: textbook submissions, desk copies, syllabi collections, maintaining current copies of faculty CV’s and annual publications, coordinate and maintain department course (EvalKit) evaluations and peer teaching evaluations. Maintain Temporary Part-time courses, files, and process contracts. This person will work closely with the Department Advisors and Graduate Advisor on curriculum and to ensure we are offering required courses on schedule. The Scheduling Coordinator will also schedule and coordinate annual psychology events such as the Department Convocation, Psychology Colloquial, and other events as needed. They will maintain department classrooms and AV equipment and offer training on the equipment as needed and will assist in the department inventory control reporting each year as well as other duties as assigned.

Manage Teaching/Course Evaluation process
Special Events coordinator
Maintain Faculty Publications and CV’s
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Proficient in MS Excel and Access DB
Previous experience working in Higher Education
Knowledge of course scheduling and curriculum
Strong Organization Skills and attention to details
