AV/Copy Room Attendant

The Psychology Department is looking for a high-energy person with good organizational skills to work as an Equipment Attendant in our AV/Copy room. The Equipment Attendant will be responsible for processing and organizing copy/print/scan jobs; maintaining copy job records; issue and receive department AV equipment for checkout; assist and troubleshoot common AV equipment issues in Logan Hall classrooms and labs. Other duties include data entry & record keeping, inventory, running errands around campus, help cover the department front desk as needed, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must have completed Intro to Psychology course and be work-study qualified.
Must be work-study qualified with a work-study award.
Must be a student in good academic standing, enrolled in a degree-seeking program, with a minimum of 6 credit hours (Non-Degree students are not eligible for student employment)
Basic computer skills such as; MS Word, Excel, Access, email systems, calendar system such as Outlook, etc.
Must have a general knowledge of AV equipment (LCD projectors and laptop connectivity), basic office procedures (meeting & greeting visitors, phones, fax…) and the use of standard office equipment.
The ability to run errands around campus as needed.
Knowledge of high capacity multi-function copy/print/scan machines.
Ability to help set up and troubleshoot Audio Visual equipment (LCD projectors, screens, and laptops).
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Access database, and Excel.
Experience with OneDrive/SharePoint.
Must be able to multitask and complete projects in a timely manner.
Basic communications skills, analytic skills, and computer skills are required.
Must maintain professional attitude and appearance.
Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
Must be able to work in a busy environment and with a diverse group of people.
