Research Interests
I am interested in process research focused on understanding mechanisms of efficacy for behavioral interventions for addictions, including motivational interviewing. I am also involved in research to investigate effective methods for disseminating and training empirically-supported behavioral treatments in addictions. Our lab is actively engaged in conducting studies to validate psychometric instruments and behavioral coding systems for motivational interviewing.
