Program Description:

The Evolution & Development Psychology Program at UNM encompasses a broad range of topics. The research foci of the developmental faculty encompass primarily, but are not restricted to, issues such as human circadian rhythmicity and social development, psychophysiology and self-regulation, and media effects. The focus of the social faculty includes measurement and formal models of social behavior, and the study of social cognition and social influence processes. Courses in this area offered at the graduate level include advanced developmental, social and emotional development, child clinical, developmental methodology, developmental psychophysiology, personality theory, personality assessment, advanced social, special topics in social, and a variety of seminars addressing particular interests of the faculty and students.
